Moving to Georgia!

 I guess a good place to start this blog is with our move from the Chicago, Illinois area to Georgia!  Georgia was on our mind!  Moving from the third largest city in the US to a small town in Georgia was definitely exciting.  We love the quieter pace and the small-town feel.  I grew up in a small town, so it's what I'm accustomed.  However, my husband grew up in Chicago, so he's city, but he absolutely loves the small town life and told me that he actually loves it down here better than the big city life.  He fits in better here...country cowboy at heart.  We were only here for a short while when he discovered that he prefers this way of life much better.  He said it suits his personality better.  You can see the stars at night, and it's a lot quieter, and allows for us to just enjoy God's creation.  We officially became Georgians!

ABOVE AND BELOW:  We had piano movers to "take-down" and move my piano from the Chicago areaa.

BELOW:  We had some good times in the Chicago area.  Fun at a minor league baseball game.

BELOW:  After our home was finished being built in Georgia, movers from Chicago brought all of our belongings down.  Below is a photo of the moving truck first arriving.  I'm not as big into physical things as I was when younger, but as my husband has said, you have to have things to live, and we've been taught to try to have the best within your means according to your blessings.  I wish I had really got that when younger, but better late than never.
